Your life revolves around others and their needs – you take care of them, please them, you are always available to them, but they don’t seem to appreciate you. You don’t talk about it, you simply keep on taking care of other people’s problems. The fact that someone needs you has become the biggest compliment for you. You want to be loved at all costs and you give everything you can to receive a bit of attention. As a result you feel totally drained. You believe that you just need to meet your soulmate and then finally your whole life will fall into place. Unfortunately, your so-called soulmate does appear, but doesn’t want to be with you, so you feel like the whole world is falling apart and you can’t take the pain anymore. This is what codependency feels like.
Codependent people also deserve kindness, love and joy. I know you can learn to be gentle and loving towards yourself, this is why I am devoting this workshop to you.
